Come, let us to the Lord
Our grateful honours bring:
For He has blessed His Church,
And in His praise we sing.
We join with thankful joy,
To seek His glorious face;
And celebrate today,
A century of Grace.
We thank you, Father God,
For those who, years ago
Came to these shores in faith,
That we Your name might know.
We thank You, too, for those
Who here have heard Your call;
Children of Africa
Who gave to You their all.
In lonely rural hut,
In church on city street
Wherever people live
Your faithful children meet.
Throughout this lovely land
With Gospel flag unfurl’d
We thank you, Lord, for him
Whose parish was the world.
A century has passed;
A future lies ahead.
Shall we now living, prove
Unworthy of our dead?
Good news the poor must hear,
The blind be made to see;
Nor shall we rest ‘till all
The captives know they’re free.
