Dear Master, we have heard Thy voice
That bids us follow, and rejoice
To be disciples like the band
Of faithful women who did stand
Beside Thee in that hour of need
Helpless to serve but loyal indeed;
Last at the cross, and ere the dawn
First at the tomb that Easter morn.
We thank Thee for our church that grew
Triumphant from the faithful few
Help us, united in thy name.
Filled with Thy love, to fan the flame;
In fellowship and prayer to find
The secret of the Master’s mind;
And thus inspired to serve with might
The cause of peace, and truth, and right.
