Come, Christ's beloved, feed on his body true.
Drink your salvation in his precious blood.
Saved by his body, hallowed by his blood;
here in God's banquet; let us thank our Lord.
Christ, in this mystery gives us his flesh and blood,
guiding us safely through death's shade to light.
Son of the Father, King of all the world,
Christ is our Savior by his cross and blood.
Christ, priest and victim, offers himself for all,
at once the giver and the gift divine.
Priests of the old law, offering blood outpoured,
did but foreshadow Christ, the Victim Priest.
Christ, our Redeemer, Christ now the light of men,
does thus enrich us by his grace sublime.
Bring to this banquet faithful hearts sincere,
take hence the promise of eternal life.
Come, Christ's beloved, feed on his body true.
Drink your salvation in his precious blood.
