Come wounded souls without delay
To Christ who heals our wounds;
This is the accepted gospel day,
In which free grace abounds.
God in his love hath given his Son
To die; and Jesus saith
That he will never cast out one,
Who comes to him by faith.
Then wandering souls to God return
Who doth free pardon give;
Look at the cross of Christ and mourn,
Look on —and you shall live.
