Praise your Redeemer, praise his name,
Ye saints who live upon his grace;
praise him whose love remains the same,
Through every change of time and place.
He came from heavenly bliss to bring
Glad tidings of salvation down;
And we have cause his praise to sing,
Who hope for an immortal crown.
He loved us when as yet we lay
In bondage under Satan’s rod;
He died upon the cross to pay
The ransom of our souls to God,
He loved us when he bore the cross,
He loves us now upon the throne;
And if for him we suffer loss,
He will at last our service own.
He loved us in his bliss before
The wheels of time began to move;
And he, when time shall be no more,
Will love us with eternal love.
