Since we believe what Jesus saith,
And know his word is true,
May we be bold to own our faith,
And be obedient too.
Suppress our shame, subdue our fear,
And arm us, Lord, with zeal;
That what we are we may appear,
And speak the things we feel.
So may our lives and actions shine,
Through grace by thee bestowed;
That men may see thy grace divine,
And glorify our God.
And when with all thy saints we meet
Our Saviour face to face,
We’ll cast our crowns before his feet,
And sing thy boundless grace.
