The Lord our Shepherd is,
We shall be well supplied;
Since he is ours, and we are his,
What can we want beside?
He leads us to the place
Where heavenly pasture grows
Where living waters gently pass,
And full salvation flows.
If e’er we go astray,
He doth our souls reclaim,
And guides us in his own right way,
For his most holy name.
While he affords his aid,
We cannot yield to fear;
Tho’ we shall walk thro’ death’s dark shade,
He will be with us there.
The bounties of thy love,
Shall crown our future days:
Nor from thy ways will we remove,
Nor cease to speak thy praise.
