We know that our Redeemer lives,
We know the joy this knowledge gives;
He lives for us, who once was dead,
Our King, our everlasting head.
He lives to bless us with his love,
To intercede for us above;
To raise our bodies from the grave,
And our immortal souls to save.
He lives, our kind and constant friend,
Who will preserve us to the end;
Then let his ransomed people sing
Their Saviour, Prophet, Priest, and King.
He died our mansions to prepare,
He lives to bring us safely there;
And must, all glory to his name,
Be to eternity the same.
