With all on earth through grace forgiven,
With all thy saints in light,
We bless thee, Lord of earth and haven,
Creator infinite.
Thou wast, and art, and art to come,
And thy mysterious name,
Which sounded through the desert’s gloom,
The unsearchable I AM.
Yet can we well thy glories trace
In all that thou hast done;
And most in that redeeming grace
Which sent thine only Son.
Be thou through every world adored,
Where’er thy creatures prove,
O holy, holy, holy Lord,
That thou art light and love.
Rescued from hell, while thought shall last,
E’en till we reach the grave,
And then when paid and death are passed,
We’ll speak thy power to save.
Glorious beyond our highest praise,
And good beyond all thought,
Help us, through our remaining days,
To love thee as we ought.
