“Whosoever shall call on the Name of the Lord,”
Whosoever shall call, “shall be saved”;
O hear the glad message proclaimed in the Word,
Three times from high Heaven ’tis waved.
Lord, I call, and I mean it; I call yet again;
I confess Thee my Savior and Lord;
As I do so, I’m saved! God says it; Amen!
I believe Him and rest on His Word.
“Whosoever” means me, “whosoever” means you,
“Whosoever” means anyone here;
Then come unto Him with a penitent heart,
And call on His Name while He’s near.
Lord, I call, and I mean it; I call yet again;
I confess Thee my Savior and Lord;
As I do so, I’m saved! God says it; Amen!
I believe Him and rest on His Word.
But how shall I call, then? By faith with thy heart,
Unto all who thus call He is nigh;
Nigh to bless, and to save, and His Spirit impart,
And to calm with His love every sigh.
Lord, I call, and I mean it; I call yet again;
I confess Thee my Savior and Lord;
As I do so, I’m saved! God says it; Amen!
I believe Him and rest on His Word.
And when shall I call? Lo, the message is “Now”;
And when will He answer my cry?
The dying thief asked Him; the answer was “Thou
E’en today shalt be with Me” on high.
Lord, I call, and I mean it; I call yet again;
I confess Thee my Savior and Lord;
As I do so, I’m saved! God says it; Amen!
I believe Him and rest on His Word.
Redemption is finished—you’ve only to ask;
All the doing the Savior hath done;
Then believe, and receive what your Father bestows
Thro’ the wonderful gift of His Son.
Lord, I call, and I mean it; I call yet again;
I confess Thee my Savior and Lord;
As I do so, I’m saved! God says it; Amen!
I believe Him and rest on His Word.
