We bring to you, dear Lord, our praise
As this new day begins;
We gather here within your house
And raise our voices high.
We know that as we lift them up,
Joining that heav’nly choir.
You do reach down and welcome us
For our dear Saviour’s sake.
Now let us open up our hearts
To hear your precious word;
May we attend most willingly
To all you have to say,
Take from our minds the stress and care
That tears our thought from You;
Help us to find within this hour
The peace your grace can bring.
Renew our minds, restore our faith,
And let our hearts stand true;
Help us to let your cleansing pow’r
Within our lives hold sway.
