In this evening hour we pray Lord
Speak to those who need Your care.
Holy Spirit come upon us
With Your presence in this prayer.
Firstly, for your loved ones pining
For the times when you did bless.
Give us grace to see Your working
As and when you act the best.
You are able to enable
Gospel preachers of Your Word
You can teach Your Church to love You,
Worship, serve You and adore.
So throughout this land so needy
Mercy drops in past we've seen.
Now for heavy cleansing, quickly
Come and make us whole and clean.
For we look for full salvation,
Life-style changes thus we need.
Come raise up within this nation
Those who work and those who lead.
Then we shall in reverence bending
And renewed on You we'll call.
For Your Holiness descending
Shall unite us one and all.
