Whether deep in oceans searching
Or above the lofty sky,
In the office or the playground
People rarely ask You, Why?
Lord will You not call them to You?
Will You not repentance bring?
May the Christ become their Saviour
That with angels they may sing?
Make your Church to be more loving,
Help us, Lord, to know your will.
That lost sinners may be willing,
Thus to seek forgiveness still.
Give us courage to beseech them,
That they too shall praise Your name.
Lest they fall to condemnation,
To distress and darkest shame.
Soon we shall in Glory see You,
Here on earth or heaven above.
Satan will be chained before You,
Time and space will be no more.
Then Your Church in Holy Triumph
Shall unite before Your throne.
All our crowns we'll lay before You
As at last all things are known.
