Oh how I would proclaim
The honours of Your Name
Let all the people shout and sing
That Jesus Christ is King.
Before the worlds were made
The Three-in-one displayed
Foreknowledge of the worlds to be
That people now can see.
Our triune God set forth
A world of beauteous worth
And Adam in that garden fair
Could all Your love declare.
But Satan fouled man's mind
Gainst all that God defined
And now the whole world ever groans
'Neath Satan's devious tones.
But, praise the Lord alone,
Who calls us from His throne.
We can His glorious name confess
Through Jesus' righteousness.
The mystery of the cross
That calls through worldly dross
And lifts men whole, renewed and clean
That Jesus Christ be seen.
May we in gladsome praise
Throughout eternal days
Give glory to the Three-in-one
In everlasting song.
