Oh Lord who knoweth all things
I know You see my ways.
You know from whence my heart springs,
My thoughts throughout the days.
And e'en before it's spoken
You know the words I'll say.
This is just one sweet token
Of how You watch each day.
Oh Hand of God e're caring
I love Your guiding ways.
You hem me in from wandering
You keep my soul each day.
Such knowledge reassures me
The height and depth sublime.
Stupendous though this thought be
I know the Saviour's mine.
Wherever You may find me
In flights of heaven above
Or still beyond the deep sea
Your hand displays your Love.
The darkness cannot hide me
The night will be as day
For you will e'er uphold me
And guide me in your way.
'Tis wonder how You made me
Within my mother's womb
And all my days I now see
Were ordered from Your throne.
You keep me safe, securely,
In days ordained by You,
As in Your Book, most surely,
Your mercies I review.
So Lord give me the power
As evil men would try
To blast against your Tower
And Your sweet will deny.
Search me, Oh Lord my master,
And cleanse me from all sin
That I may run the faster
To Paradise and Him.
